I have taken college level general chemistry, organic chemistry, general biology, and calculus I & II. In high school I was in a health professions program and studied medical terminology, which lead me to a study of Latin in college. I volunteered in Oakland for two years teaching health classes to high school students. I am also a resident advisor, and get to work closely with college students, helping by encouraging their success in school. Tutoring individuals allows me to have a more direct connection with a student while also helping to keep my knowledge of science and language sharp.
